How do I turn a list of customers into a call list?

Select the customers - for example everyone in a saved View - and add them to a sales process. They arrive at the top of that process's board, ready to start.

What is a sales process board?

A board built for one kind of job. Across the columns are the steps to be done on every job, from calling back within the hour to sending the quote, each with when it is due. Each tab is a stage: scheduled calls, sold, and the ones that went nowhere.

How do I log a sales call and book a follow-up?

Rather than picking a status, record what happened - for example you spoke to them and they want a quote - and book a follow-up call for a day and time. It goes straight onto your calendar and into Follow Ups.

How do I record a deal in Sales Intellect?

Open a deal from the customer with what it is, its value, how likely it is to close (for example 75 percent) and when it is expected to close.

How do I see all my open deals in one place?

The Deals page brings together every deal from every board. The tiles show what is open and what is closing soon, and Needs review picks out deals past their close date or untouched for a fortnight, so nothing goes quiet.

How does the sales forecast work?

The forecast spreads your deals over the months ahead by expected close date, weighted by how likely each one is, so you can see what the next quarter looks like.

The sales dashboard

Acme's day starts on the dashboard. Every sales process is here at a glance: who is ready to call, who is in progress, and who is booked in. Missed calls are flagged in red, and Follow Ups lists today's calls, with times, followed by the rest of the week.

From a saved View to a sales board

Remember the View we saved last time? Thirty six customers with a hot water system over ten years old. That's a list worth calling. Select them all, and add them to a sales process. Hot Water System Replacement is a board built for exactly this job.

Working the board

Here's the board. The new customers are waiting at the top, ready to start. Across the columns are the steps Acme wants done on every job, from calling back within the hour to sending the quote, each with when it's due. And each tab is a stage: scheduled calls, sold, and the ones that went nowhere.

Logging a call and booking a follow-up

Jess starts on the first one and gives them a call. Rather than picking a status, she records what happened. She spoke to them, they're keen for a quote, so she books a follow up call for Thursday at ten. It goes straight onto her calendar and into Follow Ups.

Opening a deal

There's money on the table, so she opens a deal. A hot water replacement, quoted at three thousand eight hundred and fifty dollars, seventy five percent likely, and expected to close in a couple of weeks.

The Deals page

Every deal from every board comes together on the Deals page. The tiles show what's open and what's closing soon. Needs review picks out the deals that are past their close date, or that nobody has touched in a fortnight, so nothing goes quiet.

Forecast and wrap-up

And the forecast turns those deals into the months ahead, weighted by how likely each one is, so Acme can see what the next quarter looks like. From a saved list, to a board, to a deal and a forecast. That's how Acme turns its customers into work.
